Slumbering Roots is one of the world quests you’ll find in Sumeru.
Your objective is to go to the Grove of Dreams to look for Arakunti.
Here’s a walkthrough of Slumbering Roots in Genshin Impact.
To begin, head south of Apam Woods. The location is marked on the map.
When you arrive, you’ll need to find Arakunti. He’s actually in a small cave.
You may have seen a Music-Loving Aranara in the area. Use music to bring it back to Vanarana.
If you continue to walk behind the house of that Aranara you’ll see a four-leaf sigil. Use the sigil and you’ll reach a hole that leads to a cave.
Play the Rhythm of the Great Dream
Proceed ahead and play the Rhythm of the Great Dream to summon Arakunti.
Find the branch
Make your way up the tree to find the “branch”.
Play the music in front of Silapna
Go to the Silapna which is marked on the map and play the musical gadget again. You will enter the dream world.
Make the three leaves turn towards the branch
In the dream world, you’ll be able to see the leaves. Rotate the “leaves” towards the branch in the middle. You can follow the green energy to reach the leaves.
At one of the leaves, you’ll come across many Ruin monsters. Take them out.
Return to the Silapna
When you’re done, head back to the Silapna and play the music again to return to the normal world.
The quest ends after Arakunti does his stuff.
