The Exile: Sprouting is a short world quest in Aaru Village of Sumeru.
Your objective is to help the Sumeru Roses planted by Sabbah to grow.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Exile quest line in Genshin Impact.
The first quest is The Exile: Sprouting.
The Exile: Sprouting
To begin the quest, head to the quest marker shown in the map below. It’s in the middle of Aaru Village.
Talk to Sabbah to begin the quest.
She’ll then ask for your help to use Dendro to grow her plants.
Use a Dendro character and a Dendro attack to fertilize the seeds of three Sumeru Roses.
The quest ends here.
The Exile: Blooming
To begin the next quest, you will need to find Sabbah again.
Talk to Sabbah again to begin the quest.
This time, use Dendro on her plants again. They will then fully bloom into Sumeru Roses.
Talk to Sabbah again and give her a Sumeru Rose. She’ll tell you about an old man planting rocks north of Aaru Village. It’s a separate quest.
