As Sons of the Forest is a survival game, both food and water are crucial to staying alive.
You will need to find water sources and there are a few ways to do so.
Here’s how you can drink water to hydrate yourself in Sons of the Forest.
How to drink water
One way to drink water is by drinking it directly from a river or a stream.
You’ll see the water indicator when you’re looking at it and you can just hold E to drink it.
After finding the 3D printer, you can print a flask to store water. It’s useful when you need to do longer explorations in caves or elsewhere.
Canned drinks and other sources
Another source of water is from canned drinks or other types of drinks in the game.
You’ll find a lot of them in labs hidden inside caves, or even in boxes in the outdoor area.
There are probably other ways to get water but I’m too early in the game at the time of writing.
