Exhuming The Forgotten is a campaign quest under Act 2: The Knife Twists Again in Diablo 4.
Your objective is to enter the Weeping Cairns to follow Airidah’s trail.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Exhuming The Forgotten in Diablo 4.
Enter the cairns.
Find the path
There’ll be a lot of demons or spirits inside. Find the path through the Weeping Cairns.
Keep going until you reach a sealed gate.
Find and place the missing wardstone
To open the sealed door, you need to find one missing wardstone and place it within the Runic Standing Stone.
Head to the chamber door instead.
There’ll be lots of enemies to kill.
Eventually, you’ll reach the Runic Wardstone. Pick it up.
Bring the stone to the Standing Stone to open the sealed door / Runed Passageway.
Speak with Yorin
Continue following the path until Yorin stops.
Defeat the Vengeful Wildwood
Some Wildwood will spawn. Slay them all.
Enter the Ancestor Heights
To exit the cairns, enter the Ancestor Heights at the end of the path.
