Diablo 4 has four world tiers and as such has four different difficulties in the game.
Higher world tiers will provide better XP among other things. However, the difficulty from enemies will also be higher.
Here’s how you can change your world tier in Diablo 4.
Change world tier from menu
The most obvious way in changing your world tier is before you load into the server.
At your character screen, you will see the world tier on the right side.
You can change your world tier depending on whether you’ve unlocked it. World tier 3 will only be unlocked after you complete the Capstone Light dungeon in world tier 2.
How to change world tier from the statue
If you’re already in-game and do not wish to leave the server, you can go to the World Tier Statue in big towns.
The most obvious one is at Kyovashad as marked in the map below.
There’s a big statue in the middle.
Interact with the World Tier Statue and you can change your world tier from within the game.
