In Diablo 4, you will loot all sorts of items when defeating monsters or opening chests.
Most of the time, you’ll find that your inventory is filled with junk items or items you have outgrown.
Here’s how you can salvage your junk items in Diablo 4.
Mark the items as junk
First of all, you should mark items in your inventory that you wish to get rid of as junk items.
If you’re on PC, you just need to use spacebar on the items and they will be marked as junk.
Go to a blacksmith
You will find a blacksmith in most towns.
Go to a blacksmith to salvage your junk items. You can choose “All Junk” and the items you marked as junk will all be salvaged for coins and so on.
You can also salvage common, magic and rare items. They give different materials when salvaged.
You will need to salvage rare items eventually if you wish to imprint your equipment with Aspects later.
