Sorcerer: Legacy of the Magi is a priority quest in Diablo 4.
Your objective is to help Mordarin recover The Forgotten Codex.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Sorcerer: Legacy of the Magi in Diablo 4.
To begin the quest, follow the astral call. The location is marked on the map below, near where you first started the game.
Talk to Mordarin.
Recover The Forgotten Codex
Head to the Lost Archives just nearby as marked in the map below.
Enter the dungeon.
You will face lots of enemies inside. To proceed further in, you need to slay two Elite demons.
They are marked in the map as skulls.
Once you’ve beaten both of them, the door opens.
You will find two Mechanical Pedestals inside. If you wish to complete the dungeon and get the Aspect then you can do so by bringing two Mechanical Boxes to the Pedestals.
Otherwise, you can just look for a Dust-Covered Chest. The Forgotten Codex is inside.
If you don’t wish to complete the dungeon, you can leave now.
Enter the Abandoned Shack
Return to Mordarin. Enter the Abandoned Shack nearby.
Light the braziers
There are four braziers in the room. Light them all up and talk to Mordarin.
Slay demons
The ritual led to summoning demons instead.
Defeat all of the demons that spawn.
The quest ends here. You’ll get XP and coins.
You will also unlock enchantment slots for your skills. Whichever skill you place in the slot will receive passive benefits.
