The Unappreciated Carving is a world quest available in Sumeru for a limited time.
Your objective is to help a craft shop look for Tanger at Gandharva Ville. It’s also the quest for you to unlock Collei without spending wishes.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Unappreciated Carving in Genshin Impact.
To begin, head to the location shown in the map below, marked by the player location. It’s in the middle of Port Osmos.
You will see two guys talking and they apparently make toys.
Look for Tanger
To help them with the carving of Aranaras, go to Gandharva Ville.
The location is provided in the map.
When you arrive at the marked area, a cutscene will load. You will see Collei and a small boy who turns out to be Tanger’s son (Razi).
You will also obtain Collei as your new character.
Talk to Tanger
Next, head to the location marked on the map below.
You will see Tanger there looking for Razi.
Follow Tanger
Then, follow Tanger as he tries to look for Aranaras.
Investigate the notes on the ground.
Go to the encampment at night
You will then need to wait until 12 am to 4 am the next day. Use the clock to move forward the time.
Find Collei
Look for Collei. The quest ends after the cutscene.
