Starfield is a RPG game where you can use all sorts of weapons, whether ranged or melee, similar to the Fallout series.
As such, it’s much easier to quickslot all of the weapons you wish to use so you don’t have to access your inventory each time you want to do so.
Here’s how you can quickslot your weapons in Starfield.
How to use the quickslot for your weapons
At the beginning of the game, you’ll be introduced to a handgun in the main mission.
You can then equip the handgun using your inventory.
That said, to make things easier, you should quickslot it.
In the same weapon inventory, you should see “Favorite” as one of the buttons at the bottom of the screen.
Just press favorite on the weapon you want and the quickslot menu appears. Choose which key to assign it to.
On PC, you can assign it on the keyboard, from numbers 1 – 0, and “[ ]”.
You’ll now be able to rotate your weapons easily in Starfield.
